NLC India Limited, a “Navratna” Public Sector Enterprise, Under the Ministry of Coal, Neyveli invites Online application from NLCIL PAPs whose house/land was acquired after 01-07-1989 for Neyveli Projects. Candidates belonging to the following categories who have passed Trade (ITI), Engineering Graduate, Diploma, and Non-Engineering Graduate courses for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in the designated subject fields for one year.

NON-ENGINEERING GRADUATE APPRENTICES
Pharmacist (Alopathy)
Qualification : B.Pharm (Allopathy)
No of posts : 5
Monthly Stipend : 15028/- (of which Rs 4500/- will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)
Duration of Training : 12 months
Pharmacist (Ayurveda)
Qualification : B.Pharm (Ayurveda)
No of posts : 1
Monthly Stipend : 15028/- (of which Rs 4500/- will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)
Duration of Training : 12 months
TECHNICIAN (Diploma) APPRENTICES
Pharmacist
No of posts : 3
Monthly Stipend : 12,524/- (of which Rs 4000/- will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)
Duration of Training : 12 months
Minimum Educational Qualifications :
Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice : Regular full-time Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university. Technician (Diploma) Apprentice : Regular full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognised board, university, or equivalent institution.
Other Eligibility Requirements :
1. Minimum age limit as per apprenticeship Act 1961 sec3 (a) should have completed 18 years age .
2. Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 (applicable to Engineering, Non-Engineering and Technician candidates only).
3. Year of Passing is not applicable to ITI passed candidates.
4. Candidates should not have previously undergone or currently be undergoing apprenticeship training at NLC India Limited or elsewhere.
5. Candidates should not have one year or more of work experience.
6. Candidates should be a ward of an NLCIL Project Affected Persons (PAPs) whose house/land was acquired by NLC India Limited after 01-07-1989.
Reservation
1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PBD candidates will be provided as per the Apprentices Act.
2. Candidates claiming reservation must submit the required certificates in the prescribed Government format.
3. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit a valid OBC-NCL certificate issued in the prescribed format, valid from 01-04-2026.
4. If the required certificate is not submitted, the candidate will be considered under the General category.
Important Instructions :
1. Candidates will have to furnish certificate from the concerned University/Institute regarding the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks with reference to their CGPA/OGPA. 5.2 In case two or more candidates secure the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, preference will be given to the older candidate based on the date of birth. 5.3 Completion of training does not entitle candidates to claim any right for temporary or permanent employment in NLC India Limited. 6.0 Method of Selection: 6.1 Trade Apprentices: a. Selection of Trade Apprentices will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying ITI examination.
Engineering & Non-Engineering Graduates and Technician Apprentices :
1. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the Bachelor's Degree/Diploma and awarded in the final qualifying examination shall be calculated based on the procedure followed by the University/Institution from where the candidate has obtained the Degree/Diploma.
2. In case the candidate is awarded Grades/CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks shall be calculated based on the conversion procedure followed by the University/Institution from where the candidate has obtained the Bachelor's Degree/Diploma.
3. In the absence of any established scheme in the University/Institution for the calculation of percentage of marks, the following principles shall be followed :
a) In case the candidate is awarded Grades/CGPA, the equivalent percentage of marks shall be calculated by multiplying the Grade/CGPA by a factor of 10.
b) In case the candidate is awarded marks semester-wise, the equivalent percentage of marks shall be calculated by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in all semesters from the second year to the final year, considering the semester-wise average.
c) In case the candidate is awarded marks year-wise, the equivalent percentage of marks shall be calculated by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in all years from the second year to the final year, considering the year-wise average.
For Non-Engineering Graduates follow the steps mentioned from 1 to 3(a) above. then
d) In case the candidate is awarded marks semester-wise, the equivalent percentage of marks shall be calculated by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in all semesters from the first year to the final year, considering the semester-wise average.
e) In case the candidate is awarded marks year-wise, the equivalent percentage of marks shall be calculated by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained in all years from the first year to the final year, considering the year-wise average.
