Biotechnology / Biochemistry or Life sciences Fellowships under ANRF-PMECRG funded project

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the research project entitled “Integrative Immunopeptidomics and high-throughput proteomics analysis to identify MHC-presented immunogenic peptides as potent vaccine candidate against Theileria annulata” funded by ANRF-PMECRG at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (No. of Position : 01)

Essential Qualifications :
• M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Biochemistry or relevant life sciences discipline) with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Candidates who have qualified CSIR NET-JRF/CSIR NET-LS/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE.

Desirable Qualifications :
• Candidate with prior research experience in Parasitology preferably on Theileria parasite, Immunology, Molecular biology, CRISPR/Cas9, Monoclonal and Recombinant antibody production, Antibody purification, Flow cytometry and Mass spectrometry would be preferred.
• Candidate with prior research experience in computational biology including Proteomics data analysis, RNA-seq analysis would be preferred.
• Candidate must have Excellent communication skills.

Age Limit : Up to 28 years on closing date of advertisement

Fellowship Duration : Initially for 1 year, extendable on an annual basis for subsequent years (total 3 years or project tenure) subject to satisfactory progress, and financial provisions.

Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month (NET/GATE or national-level exam qualified candidates) as per ANRF-PMECRG guidelines.
