The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER, Kolkata) has been created as a centre of excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences.
The Institute offers in M.S.(Pharm.) in Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products and Pharmacoinformatics. The Institute admits students for the M.S(Pharm.) through a common entrance test conducted by NIPER, Mohali. In future the number of M.S. programs would be increased and Ph.D programs would also be started in various disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences every year.

National Seminar on “Drug and diseases: role of pharmacists and doctors” is going to be organized jointly by the Centre for Advance Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata and the Indian Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and Technologists, Kolkata on 16th January, 2016 at Dr. H. L. Roy Building, Jadavpur University (Kolkata 700 032), one of the premier universities in India.

IICB Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in India for biomedical research and was included within the aegis of CSIR in 1956.
IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and biological problems of global interest, employing sophisticated state-of-the-art technology in keeping with the rapid and unprecedented momentum that life science research has gained globally over the last 50 years.

It is proposed to fill up the follow ing contractual posts of technical experts on contract basis initially for a period of one year or till the posts are filled on regular basis. Interested candidates may walk-in for interview at the date and time indicated against the posts along with bio-data and photo copies of the testimonials and NOC from employer, if employed.
