Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT, Mesra) is a government funded technical institute (GFTI) situated at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.[4] It was declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act The institute was included under Section 12B of the UGC Act, 1956, in November 2023.
Post : Project Associate-I(b)
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position for Project Associate-I(b) in an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) funded research project with following details :
Name of the project : Development of a Non-Invasive, Smartphone-Integrated, Machine Learning-Assisted Multiplexed Electrochemical Biosensor for Urinary NGAL and Cystatin C Detection to Enable Early Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Monitoring.

Duration of the project : 3 Years
Number of Positions : 1 (One)
Essential qualifications : For Project Associate-I(b): Post-graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/Microbiology or M.Tech in Chemical Engg. / Biosciences and Bioengineering and other relevant allied disciplines from a recognized University/Institute in India. Preference will be given to the candidate who qualified GATE / NET or any equivalent national level examination.
Desirable : Candidates with knowledge on electrochemistry and biological sample handling & preparation mechanism.
Fellowship : Project Associate-I(b) : (Rs. 30,000/- + 20 % HRA) per month.
