Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT, Mesra) is a government funded technical institute (GFTI) situated at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.[4] It was declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act The institute was included under Section 12B of the UGC Act, 1956, in November 2023.

Number of Positions : 01 (One)
Essential qualifications : M. Pharm./ M.S. Pharm. with specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmacology. Preference will be given to the candidate who qualified NET/GATE/ GPAT or any equivalent national-level examination.
Desirable : Candidates with basic research aptitude; experience in organic synthesis, experience in spectroscopical and chromatographical characterizations
Fellowship : JRF: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA + Medical Allowance (1st & 2nd year); SRF: Rs. 42000/- + 20% HRA + Medical Allowance (3rd year) for candidates with GATE / NET or similar other national level ranking.
