ABSTRACT
Interest in alternative medicine and plant-derived medications that affect the "mind" is growing. Anxiety affects one-eighth of the total population of the world and has become a very important area of research interest in psychopharmacology during this decade. Anxiety, a state of excessive fear, is characterized by motor tension, sympathetic hyperactivity, and apprehension and vigilance syndromes. Benzodiazepines are the major class of compounds used in anxiety and they have remained the most commonly prescribed treatment for anxiety, despite the important unwanted side effects that they produce such as sedation, muscle relaxation, ataxia, amnesia, ethanol and barbiturate potentiation and tolerance. Various types of herbal medicines have been used as anxiolytic drugs in different parts of the world. Folk medicines have particular values, for example, plants that "calm down", tranquilize, and raise mood, such as Passiflora coerulea, Valeriana officinalis, Matricaria recutita, Jatropa cilliata, Salvia guaranitica, Tilia tormentosa, and Tilia europeae. Plants have long been used to treat central nervous system (CNS) disorders.

Abstract:
Tagetes erectus
leaf  were evaluated against various gram +ve and gram–ve bacteria and fungi, ethanol extracts exhibited very satisfactory inhibitory activity. Further studies involving the isolation, characterization and purification of the chemical compounds of the plant and screening for antibacterial and antifungal may result in the development of a potent entity which will be of lower toxicity and a high therapeutic value to the mankind.

ABSTRACT
Among the several identified types of dementia, Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common. In 1906 a German physician, Dr. Alois Alzheimer, specifically identified a collection of brain cell abnormalities as a disease which is a degenerative brain disorder. Today, this degenerative brain disorder bears his name, and when found during an autopsy, these plaques and tangles mean a definite diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD).  This article provides a general idea of some main causes ofAlzheimer's disease, use of various prospects of nanotechnology herbal medicines and intended to explain the therapeutic effectiveness of various herbal medicines in the treatment of Alzheimer disease.

ABSTRACT:
A Number of drug that are banned in abroad are freely available in the Indian market. The most pitiable feature is that use of these drugs are regularly causing long term implication for our physical health. Some of the common ones that are easily available and people use frequently without doctor’s prescription are D-cold, Nimesulide and Analgin. These are use as pain killer but latest research shows that long term use of such medicines can affect human health in various ways by damaging liver, causing irregular heartbeats, depression, blood pressure fluctuations etc. This is the prime reason that most of European countries have disqualified and banned the manufacturing and consumption of these drugs. It has been recently pointed out that Indian drug regulatory authorities have refused to ban sale of 11 drug, including Furazolidone, Phenypropanolamine, Cisapride and Nimuselide, apart from over 80 drug combinations that are prohibited in other countries IPA have made various regulation and guideline for the control of  these drug, but still they are in use because of lack of awareness in people.
