    The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi.

  • Work as Data Collection Assistant in College of Dairy Science & Technology, GADVASU | Walk in interview

    Walk in interview is called for the post of Data Collection Assistant (4) in the ICAR Extramural funded project entitled “Comparative economic valuation and empirical assessment of salient characteristics of Indigenous cattle vis-a-vis cross bred cattle in state of Punjab a prelude to economic incentives”. The post is purely temporary and is for six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.   • Walk in interview for Senior Research fellow in IVRI

    Applications in the general proforma are invited for the engagement of Senior Research fellow (SRF) purely on contract basis for “Outreach Programme on Ethnoveterinary Medicine”.
