A walk in interview is scheduled at Pharmacology & Toxicology Division of the Institute on 3^rd August, 2015 at 11.00 AM for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow in DST funded time bound project titled, “Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling in early pregnant buffalo uterus: Possible role in endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation”. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. There will be no provision of absorption/reemployment in IVRI/DBT on termination of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate letter will be issued.

Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), a National Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India invites applications for 6 positions of JRF for 2015. The main mandate of IBSD is Conservation and Sustainable Utilization of Bioresources for the Socio-economic Development of the North East Region of India, which is a genetic treasure trove of plants, animals and microbial resources. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi.

Applications are invited for the posts of one Research Associate (RA) of a project under the National Fund for Basic, Strategic and, Frontier Application Research in Agriculture (NFBSFARA) at Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab. The appointments will be purely temporary under contractual and co-terminus basis, following the prescribed procedure for six months or till the completion date of the project. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof.

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a "Deficiency Disease Enquiry" and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
