Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy is a pioneer institute in the area of Pharmaceutical Education in the Himachal Pradesh State and established in the patronage of Maa Saraswati Educational Trust in 2007. The institute is currently offering D. Pharm, B. Pharm and M. Pharma (Pharmaceutics) Courses. Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh Technical University and Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board and approved from PCI & AICTE.  The institute is located in the the heart of the stretch of Pharmaceutical Hub that is Kala Amb and arount 400 small to large Pharmaceutical Manufacturing units are established in this area which are contributing around 40% of total pharma manufacturing of the nation. The institute has very close relationship with Pharmaceutical companies in term of training/placement and technical support.

Bharat institute of Technology-Pharmacy (BIT) was established in the year 1999 by the CHMR Educational Society with the noble aim of imparting quality Pharmacy education to students aspiring to become responsible pharmacists and to cater to the needs of pharmacy profession. The college is situated in a sprawling 120 acres of campus situated 24 kms from the heart of the city. The focus of the architecture of the gigantic pharmacy building is to provide the right ambience needed for the overall growth of both the students and faculty.

Sikkim became an integral part of the Indian Union in May, 1975. The Constitutional Provision under Article 315 to have a Public Service Commission for the State was fulfilled by constituting a State Public Service Commission in the year 1978. The Public Commission has actually started functioning from 1982 with the appointment of the Chairman and deputation of the staff from the State Government.

Raghu College of Pharmacy (RCP) is founded in 2007 with the main thrust to train qualified professionals in the field of pharmacy to cater to the needs of the society and to shoulder the ever-changing business responsibilities at national and international levels. The campus of RCP is located at Dakamarri Village, Bhimili Mandal, Visakhapatnam District (A.P.), in a tranquil atmosphere amidst gardens and greenery. The college has developed good infrastructure consisting of 0.25 lakh sq.ft build-in area to house classrooms, laboratories, library, staff rooms, administrative office, hostels, etc.
