The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.

Candidates, who fulfil the requisite qualifications, may appear for the walk-in interview/written test. The candidate should submit the prescribed application form available in the website of ICMR- REGIONAL MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTRE (rmrc.res.in), Dollygunj, PORT BLAIR together with self attested copies of all the certificates relating to educational qualification, date of birth, working experiences etc., on the day of the walk-in interview/written test. Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates for verification. The registration process will start at 10:00 am. The exact time of interview/ written test will be intimated to the candidates on 17 /01/2018, after completion of the registration process.

The Tata Memorial Hospital and Cancer Research Institute merged as the two arms of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) in 1966 as a classic example of private philanthropy augmented by Government support with a mandate for Service, Education & Research in Cancer.
