Pharma Fellowship under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation at Jamia Hamdard

Applications are invited from eligible and motivated candidates to work as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India funded research project at the Centre of Excellence in Unani Medicine (Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology), Department of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER), Jamia Hamdard.

Title of Project : Exploration of Indian Medicinal Plants for Development of Synergistic AYUSH Based Anti- Urolithiatic Formulation

Monthly Remuneration : ₹37,000/- per month + HRA @ 30% for first and second year. After upgradation to SRF as per ANRF norms : ₹42,000/- per month + HRA @ 30%.
Allowance, if any : HRA as per ANRF norms
Tenure (in years and months) : Initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended annually based on satisfactory performance. Total project duration is 36 months.

Essential Qualification(s)
i. M. Pharm./MS (Pharm.) in Pharmacognosy/Phytochemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Analysis /Pharmacology / Pharmaceutics/ QA or related discipline with minimum 55% marks.
ii. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in herbal drug research, phytochemical analysis, chromatographic techniques, animal handling, experimental pharmacology, scientific writing, and data analysis.

Desirable Qualification(s) : i. GPAT/NET qualified candidates will be preferred.
ii. Experience in natural product analysis/ characterization will be an added advantage.

Nature of Work : Extraction and phytochemical analysis of medicinal plants. Development and evaluation of anti- urolithiasis formulations. Instrumental analysis using advanced analytical techniques. Pharmacological and experimental studies. Data compilation and report preparation.
Experience, if any : Experience in herbal drug research, phytochemical analysis, chromatography, pharmacological studies, and scientific writing will be preferred.
Age Limit, if any : As per ANRF/University norms.
