College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puri (CPS, Puri) conducts D. Pharm, B. Pharm. and M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics programmes which are affiliated to Biju Pattanaik University of Technology (BPUT). The courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education and recognised by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puri has a team of well experienced and most knowledgeable faculty members, and it facilitate the students to access well equipped laboratories and technologies available in the Institute.

National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs) have been created by an Act of Parliament and each institute is an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. Having been declared as Institutes of National Importance, NIPERs have been contributing to the growth of the pharmaceutical industry.

The National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram, is a constituent Laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Initially established in 1975 as a CSIR Complex, it was named as the Regional Research Laboratory in 1978 and later renamed as NIIST in 2007. Its mandate is to conduct research and development activities of the highest quality in areas related to effective utilization of resources of the region and of fundamental importance to the country.

SMS Life sciences is a global player in APIs/Intermediates manufacturing having a strong research and manufacturing team supported by state of the art facilities. What started off as a single facility - single product manufacturing company in 1990 grew to be a multi-location group having products spread across an array of therapeutic segments. SMS Group was given the export house status in the year 1997-98.

CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad is a Premier Research Laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research , which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-IICT is a multi-disciplinary Institute with proven strengths in Organic Chemistry (drugs, agro chemicals and industrial organics), Inorganic and Physical Chemistry including Catalysis, Lipid Science & Technology, Organic Coatings & Polymers, Chemical Biology, Chemical Engineering and Design Engineering.

National Institute of Cancer prevention and research (NICPR) was initially established as Cytology Research Centre (CRC) by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in 1979, and was elevated to the level of an Institute in 1989. It was granted national status in 2016 acknowledging its mandate and contributions towards cancer prevention. The institute has broadened its horizon to cater to prevention of prevalent cancers in the country. The thrust areas of research include pre-cancer and cancers of the uterine cervix, breast and oral cancers.

ICMR- Vector Control Research Centre (VCRC), established at Pondicherry (now Puducherry) in July 1975, is one of the permanent institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Government of India. VCRC has been engaged in basic and applied research with the primary objective of finding newer methods and developing strategies of vector control for the control of vector borne diseases.

Centre for Aromatic Plants was established by Government of Uttarakhand in 2003 at industrial area Selaqui, Dehradun. CAP is a complete business incubator centre for the development of the aromatic sector in Uttarakhand. It is equipped with end to end facilities and support services like survey, training, research, production of quality planting material, extension, distillation and marketing etc. The focus is to make these all facilities available to the farmers, entrepreneurs, researcher, buyers, distillers, perfumers and traders under one roof.

The Institute, founded in 1946 as the Maharashtra Association for the Cultivation of Science Research Institute, was renamed in 1992 as the Agharkar Research Institute (ARI) in honour and memory of the Founder Director, the late Professor Dr. Shankar Purushottam Agharkar. The ARI is an autonomous research institution fully funded by the Department of science and Technology (DST) government of India, since 1966. It operates under the overall umbrella of the Maharashtra Association for the Cultivation of Science (MACS).
