Pharma Fellowship for Product Development, Standardization and Accelerated stability study at Central Ayurveda Research Institute

Central Ayurved Research Institute, Jhansi (CARI, Jhansi) is situated in the Bundelkhand area of Uttar Pradesh formerly known as National Vriksha Ayurved Research Institute (NVARI, Jhansi). It was established in the year 1973 with a view to conduct medico-ethno-botanical survey covering two biogeographic zones viz., Upper Gangetic plain and Central Indian zone. Institute possesses a huge area of 45.63 acres which is divided in 3 blocks: Block A (15 Acres), Block B (0.76 acres), and Block C (29.63 acres). Institute recently upgraded its status from Regional to Central. Land of Institute is donated by Mr. R.V. Dhulekar (President of The Servant of Nation Society, Jhansi) to the President of India through gift deed on 25-05-1967 for the research in Ayurveda.

A Walk-In-Interview for 01 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will be held at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi (U.P.)

Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Title of the Project : ‘Product Development, Pharmaceutical Standardization and Accelerated stability study of Ayush Nutri granules along with Computational study for its active metabolites’
Duration : 14 months
Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.07.2026
Pay : Rs 42000 + HRA (as per rules) / Month

Qualification Required
Essential : i) M. Pharm/ M.S Pharma (Pharmaceutical Science) / M. Pharm (Ayurveda) / (Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technology from a recognized University/ Institution OR
(i) Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent with NET-CSIR/ GATE/ GPAT, etc., and
(ii) Two years' experience in the field of Research and Development OR (i) Master's Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent;
(ii) Four years' experience in the field of Research and Development

Desirable :
a) Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualifications or who have previous research experience on AYUSH & H drugs preparation and their standardization.
b) Having worked on any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST, or an equivalent organisation.
c) Skills in drafting and editing of scientific documents/ articles/ technical reports, etc.
d) Publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
e) Working knowledge of computers.

General Terms and Conditions
1. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the Project, and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates with respect to age will be determined as on 01.07.2026 and relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC etc. candidates as per Govt., of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
