Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989. It was established in 1994, since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning. The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 kms from  Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the North East. Applications are invited for a JRF post in the Dept. of Chemistry, under DBTs NER TWINNING Programme, in collaboration with the Dept. of Biotechnology, in Assam University (Central University), Silchar, Assam.

The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India propose to recruit Analyst (Trainees) (1 post at Bhimavaram and 2 posts at Nellore) on contract basis to work in Quality Control Laboratories, Bhimavaram and Nellore (ISO/IEC17025:2005 NABL Accredited / EIC Approved) for a period of two years. Candidates meeting following educational qualifications and interested to work on contract basis can attend the walk-in interview at 10 AM on 03-06-2014 at QC Laboratory, Bhimavaram and at 10 AM on 04-06-2014 at QC Laboratory, Nellore along with bio data and original certificates of educational qualification and experience.

Interview for the position of project Assistant in DBT project (one) for the period of one year in DBT project reference No.BT/PR4507/MED/30/833/2012 at fixed stipend of Rs.8000/month. The title of the project is “Molecular Mechanism of Neuroprotection Mediated Through Adenosine A2A Receptor” sanctioned  to Dr. Pratibha Mehta Luthra(PI), Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi.

The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) and the Bombay Public Trust Act (1950). Its Governing Council is headed by the Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, Government of India.

U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center (UNMICRC) is a Grant-in-aid cardiac institute promoted by Government of Gujarat in Ahmadabad, Gujarat. The institute is affiliated to B J Medical College, Civil Hospital Campus (Medicity), Asarwa which is a Government Medical College. We currently have 450 beds that includes a state-of-the-art 250 bed cardiac unit with 4 Cardiac Flat Panel Cathlab (Including Hybrid Cath Lab with Cardiac OT), and 5 Cardiac Operation Theater including a Pediatric OT and a Thoracic OT with most advanced medical equipment.

Regional Plant Resource Centre was established in 1985 as a recreational garden and with an aim to provide a green lung for the inhabitants of Bhubaneswar – the capital city of Orissa. Gradually it became a dynamic and vibrant research organization of the State Government with a focus on the conservation of plant biodiversity. Over the year, it has made significant contributions in the field of ex situ and in situ conservation and assessment of genetic diversity of various groups of plants and its related aspects.
