Funding Agency : BITS Pilani
Duration of the project : 2 Years (The appointment will be renewed every year based on satisfactory performance)
Fellowship Amount (Rs.) : 37,000/- (initially first two years)
Qualification Minimum eligibility to apply for this position : Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry (with at least 60 % marks) Or M.Pharm. (with at least 60 % marks) (Experience in Synthetic Organic Chemistry/Peptide Chemistry Related Project Work will be given preference). Preference will also be given to the candidates qualified with National Eligibility Tests- CSIR–UGC NET including PhD only / PhD + lectureship (Assistant Professorship) in Chemical Sciences / GATE in Chemistry
Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates

The selected candidate is expected to perform lab experiments, writing reports/articles in good English based on the experimental findings of research followed by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Candidates with basic understanding in Organic Chemistry, Organic Synthesis, Reagent Chemistry, Coupling Agents, Peptide Chemistry, Biomolecules, Supramolecular Chemistry, General Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Photochemistry will be preferred.
Accommodation : Hostel accommodation at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus will be provided, subject to availability, and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining the candidate.
