Post Graduates in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Statistics, Social Works, Sociology, BAMS, BSMS, with MD in AYUSH to support Intramural Primary Research co- ordination and facilitate in better central procurement planning framework at ICMR headquarters

The successful candidate is expected to work on chickpea root nodule symbiosis, its transcriptomics and understanding the molecular mechanism behind plant immunity during root nodule symbiosis.

Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point are eligible to apply.

The preference will be given to candidates who have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Work experience in the area of molecular biology, cell biology bacterial and mammalian cell culture, protein biochemistry, structural biology and animal handling.

Project work involve computer aided modelling of previously unmodelled proteins, prediction of impact of mutations on protein conformation, flexibility and stability using accelerated molecular dynamic simulations, Time-lagged independent component analysis, and in-silico docking. It also aimed to the development of potential small molecule data base for comprehensive drug discovery.

This program aims to provide a unique platform for talented undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars from reputed academic institutions. Participants will gain hands-on research experience in science and technology disciplines relevant to BIT Mesra while working alongside renowned faculty, scientists, and engineers on campus.

PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or related discipline with application of the above-mentioned skills. Demonstrated experience in development of software tools and data analysis pipelines.

M.Sc in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Microbiology. Applicant must be qualified in any of the following test CSIR, UGC, ICMR including lectureship Assistant Professorship or GATE. National Level Examination DST, DBT etc. 

Ph.D Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or relevant branch of biological sciences with at least 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.
