Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University invites applications from eligible candidates for faculty Positions at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences MCOPS, a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal. MCOPS started offering Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) education in 1963 and became a degree college for Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program in 1965. Eventually, MCOPS became the first college to offer a postgraduate course (MPharm) in Karnataka in 1970 and the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program in 2008 in India.
Post : Project Associate-I
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Associate-I to work under a ANRF (ANRF/ECRG/2024/003501/LS) sponsored project titled “Generative AI-driven discovery of novel small molecules inhibiting mycobacterial Iron-Sulfur protein Rv0338c (IspQ) ” at the Department of Bioinformatics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Eligibility : Four Years bachelor’s degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences, M.Sc. in any field of Life Sciences or Bioinformatics.
• Prior experience in Generative AI, Advanced MD simulations and Medicinal Chemistry will be preferred.
• Candidate with UGC-CSIR / NET / GATE / DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
Remuneration : 37000+HRA (National Eligibility Tests UGC-CSIR/GATE/ DBT-BET) 30000+HRA (Who don’t fall under the above category)
Duration of the project : 3 Years
