Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences has been recognized as the Apex Organisation by the Government of India under the National Programme for the Control of Blindness. The Centre also assists the Ministry of Health in short term and long term planning and evaluation of the programme. It undertakes and plans epidemiological investigations and provides technical leadership to the entire nation. The Centre is actively collaborating with various National and International agencies like ICMR, WHO and others in various fields of clinical, applied and basic research. It has also been designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts under the research projects titled "Traditional uses of Kachnar (bauhinia variegate) for Human and Nutrition : An Epidemiological study in Tribal Districts of Jharkhand" India at AIIMS, New Delhi & Jharkhand funded by Central Coalfields Ltd., Ranchi, Jharkhand. Qualification : EQ : I) MD/MS/DN-/MPH or Equivalent Degree in Community Medicine, Community Ophthalmology, Ayurveda
II) M.Sc./Master in Public Health, Life Science, Biotechnology, Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Physiology with 4 Year of research experience
DQ : Preference will be given to PhD qualified candidates
Remuneration as Per Funding Agency CCL : Rs. 40,000 + HRA 30% (12,000) 52,000/-

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
