Regional Centre for Biotechnology, is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. Interview for ‘Project-JRF’ Position - 01 Post
Title of Project : Identification of lead molecules for development of novel therapeutic strategies against viruses.
Duration : Initially for one year and may be extended further after review.
Age : 35 Years
Essential Qualifications : Post-graduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or equivalent with minimum 60% marks. The candidate should have qualified NET/GATE or any other National level examination conducted by Central Govt. departments and their agencies & institutions. Practical knowledge of recombinant DNA technology, protein purification, and macromolecular crystallography is required. The candidate should have knowledge and research experience in enzymes that act on nucleic acids.
Desirable Qualifications : The candidate should have knowledge of molecular modelling.
