Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani is one of the premier technical and science institutes of higher learning in India. It was established by Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (Rajasthan) as one of its latest campuses in the year 2008 with the first batch graduating in the year 2012. BITS, Pilani is one of India’s top technical and science universities  established under Sec. 3 of the UGC act.

The CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) is one of the oldest National Laboratories under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It started as the Central Laboratories for Scientific & Industrial Research (CLSIR) by the then princely State of Hyderabad in 1944. CSIR-IICT during its seventy year journey has made its mark as a dynamic, innovative and result oriented R&D organization. The clientele spans all comers of the globe. In India it is the reliable destination of chemical and biotech industries.

The Himalaya Drug Company was founded in 1930 by Mr. M. Manal with a clear vision to bring Ayurveda to society in a contemporary form and to unravel the mystery behind the 5,000 year old system of medicine. This included referring to ancient ayurvedic texts, selecting indigenous herbs and subjecting the formulations to modern pharmacological, toxicological and safety tests to create new drugs and therapies.

To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish.The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being

Bharat School of Pharmacy, Hyderabad was established with the objective of imparting quality pharmacy education in India. The mission statement of the institution was defined in the year 2007 be a fully equipped Postgraduate studies and Research centre. Today the college is a largest postgraduate and research institutions, imparting quality pharmaceutical education at graduate and postgraduate level.

It is my privilege and honour to share my views on the website of PGIMS, Rohtak that our prestigious Institute Pt. B.D. Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak has glorious and illustrious history. It has grown leaps and bounds since then to become the epicentre for patient care from across Haryana as well as neighbouring States. In its nascent stage, Medical College was started as guest Institute in 1960 at Medical College, Patiala. Due to high demand for medical education and a deficient patient care services in the southern part of Haryana which was the then part of Punjab, it was shifted to Rohtak in 1963 during the tenure of Sardar Partap Singh Kairon who was then Chief Minister of Punjab. From a small guest institute to a mammoth and prestigious Institute in the country, it has been on a constant growth path and has never looked back since then.

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) program.
