The Indian Registry of Pathology was established in 1965 under the auspices of the Indian Council of Medical Research in New Delhi, India as a Centre for collection and distribution of teaching material in pathology. The Registry was renamed in 1980 as the National Institute of Pathology (IOP) in view of its expanded scope and activities.

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) is the Pharmaceutical School of Siksha O Anusandhan or SOA University. SPS is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The Regional Research Institute for Siddha in Puducherry was established on 22nd August, 1979. The Government of Puducherry came forward to provide basic infrastructure for setting up of this institute. Initially, the institute was located in a block of Government General Hospital. This institute started functioning in its own premises at Kuyavarpalaiyam since 2003 with a well-maintained campus and picturesque herbal garden with more than 150 medicinal plants.

Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar is a constituent of Central Council for Resesarch in Unani Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Since 1985. Over the past few decades this institute has emerged as the leading institute of the Unani medical research in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
