The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Application are invited on plain paper for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ICMR funded project entitled “To investigate............................ in attenuating autistic behaviors by altering astrocytic and histaminergic neuronal signaling" under Dr. Bikash Medhi, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh - 160012. I e post is purely on contract basis.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01)
Qualification : Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Life Sciences equivalent with any specializations from recognized University (As per rues).
Desirable : Preference will be given to candidate having knowledge of Experimental animal study in the field of Neurology.
Age : As per ICMR norms.
Pay Scale : As per ICMR norms
The above appointment will be purely on temporary basis.
