Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar is a constituent of Central Council for Resesarch in Unani Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Since 1985. Over the past few decades this institute has emerged as the leading institute of the Unani medical research in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The campus houses a building which contains Clinical Department (including Opd, ipd, Labortaries, Pharmacy), SMPU (Survey of Medicinal Plant Unit), Drug Standardization Research Unit (DSRU), Administrative Block, PG Department, canteen.

Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (renamed as Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya in June, 2001) was established on 1st November, 1978.The College of Agriculture (established in May, 1966) formed the nucleus of the new farm University. The Atal Incubation Center (AIC) - NIPER Guwahati Foundation has been set up in the NIPER Guwahati campus at Changsari, North Guwahati, Kamrup as a section 8 not-for-profit company.
