Cancer is called “Emperor of All Maladies.” Finding cure for cancer is one of the most important goal of medical research. Cancer is among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Globally, in the year 2012, cancer affected 14 million new people and 8.2 million people died from cancer or cancer-related complications^[1]. The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October, 1933 by the University of Mumbai, through active support of industries and philanthropists. This Institute has undertaken a project on "Development of Enzyme and colloidal gold based Immunoassays (ELISA and LFIA) using bridge and antigen heterology for the detection of prednisolone, Medroxyprogesterone acetate, 17 α methyltestosterone and nandrolone in biological fluids and tissues of animals". For this project, NIHFW proposes to fill the following post on contractual basis.
