Hon. Municipal Commissioner's approval has been received vide No. MGC/F/6962 dated 26.06.2025 to fill the vacant posts of 'Drug Manufacturer' cadre at the establishment of Seth A.J.B. Municipal Corporation Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for the period from 01.10.2025 to 31.03.2027 on contractual basis with a service break of 01 day after each 179 days, for the period of such period as the said posts are filled on contractual basis or on regular basis, whichever is earlier. In accordance with the said approval, applications are being invited in the prescribed format from the candidates who possess the required educational qualification / qualification of the Drug Manufacturer cadre and who are willing to fulfill the conditions. The said posts will be filled on contractual basis as per the requirement.

Educational Qualification : 1) The candidate should have a Diploma in Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education or a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University. (Preference will be given to those with 21 years.)
2) The candidate should be registered with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
Also, the following qualifications are required.
1) The candidate should have passed the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education School Leaving Examination or similar examination with a minimum of 50 marks in Marathi subject.
2) The candidate should have knowledge of computer. He/she should have (D.O.E.A.C.C.) Society (C.C.C.) or (O Level) or (A Level) or (B Level) or (C Level) level certificate or Maharashtra State and Technical Education Board M.S.C.I.T. or G.E.C.T. certificate. To be exempted from submitting the said certificate, the candidate should have completed the course approved by the Government from time to time regarding computer handling/use.
Age Limit : The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years as on the last date of submission of application.
Application Fee :-
The applicant should pay the application fee of Rs.790/- + 18% GST in cash at the Civic Facility Centre (CFC) of the Municipal Corporation by collecting the challan from the office during the working hours of Seth A.J.B. Municipal Corporation Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital. (This application fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded under any circumstances.)
The original receipt of payment of fee should be attached to the application, the completed application form along with all the documents (including self-attested photocopies of certificates) should be submitted to the Administrative Office of Seth A. J. B. Municipal Corporation Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, Incoming and Outgoing Department.
Selection Criteria and Procedure
1) The merit of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of the prescribed educational qualification and experience points of the said post. A selection list will be prepared from the candidates in the merit list.
2) Preference will be given to the candidates who pass in the first attempt. If the candidate has passed in two or three attempts, 5 marks, 10 marks will be deducted from the final marks. Candidates who have passed the examination in more than three attempts will not be considered. Eligible candidates with equal marks will be given priority based on seniority as per date of birth. (Preference will be given to those who are twenty-one.)
3) The selection list will be displayed on the local notice board of the hospital.
General Terms and Conditions
1) The application should be complete in all respects in the prescribed format with self-signed signature. The candidate's mobile number, e-mail ID and correspondence address (including pin code) should be clear and complete. Incomplete applications not in the prescribed format will not be considered.
2) A recent passport-sized photograph of the candidate should be affixed at the place specified on the application along with his signature. Two additional copies of the same photograph should be kept with the candidate for further selection process.
3) Female candidates should submit marriage registration certificate, gazette notification of change of name. Also, if they are not available, married female candidates can apply under their pre-marital name.
4) The candidate should attach a copy of the school leaving certificate, birth certificate, 10th, 12th and degree certificates, self-attested photocopies with the application,
5) Candidates will have to appear in the office on the given date with the original documents of the photocopied certificates submitted. The said date will be communicated to you 5 days in advance on the e-mail ID you have provided.
6) If the candidate has been convicted by any court for moral turpitude or criminal case, and if there is a police investigation/court case pending against the candidate/if he has been convicted, the candidate must provide information about it.
7) Appointment on contractual basis will be purely temporary for a period of 179 days at a time.
8) Apart from the lump sum paid to the contractual employees, no dearness allowance, house rent allowance etc. will be admissible.
9) The candidates will be allowed weekly leave and 7.5 casual leave for six months during the contract period, no other leave will be allowed.
10) They will report for duty regularly every day, otherwise they will be considered absent. Their absence without permission will be treated as absent without pay.
11) The appointed candidate will be required to report for duty as per the hospital facilities and as per the orders received.
12) The rules of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Service Rules will not be applicable to the appointed candidates. This appointment will be purely on a contractual basis and no claim for regular service will be made and no court will be allowed.
13) Since the service of the candidates working during the contract period is temporary, their service will not be considered for seniority or priority will be given to the said service for seniority.
14) If the performance of the candidates working on contract basis is unsatisfactory during the contract period, the appointment on such basis will be terminated without any prior notice.
15) If it is found that the candidate has committed any disciplinary offence during the period of appointment of the said contract holder, his appointment will be cancelled immediately.
16) If the selected candidate wants to resign from the post for any reason, he is required to give 1 month's prior notice and if no prior notice is given, the salary for that month will be deducted.
17) If the appointed contractual employee resigns or leaves the service, the next available candidate on the list will be appointed.
18) During the contract period, the candidates on contract basis will have to submit a bond of Rs. 500/- on bond paper.
19) If at any time after the commencement of the selection process or after the appointment, any candidate is found to have submitted any false information/certificates/documents or to have concealed any information, his candidature will be cancelled. Also, if there is an appointment, his appointment will be terminated without any prior notice.
20) The Mumbai Municipal Commissioner reserves the right to stop the selection process at any time at any stage for administrative or other reasons.
Special Instructions
1) Applications submitted/received earlier at the concerned office and other places will not be considered.
2) Applications received by post will not be considered.
3) Applications will not be accepted without paying the prescribed application fee and attaching its receipt.
4) Candidates registered with the Service Planning Office/Project Officer are also required to appear with personal information and original and attested copies of the necessary certificates as per this advertisement.
5) If a candidate brings any documents after the prescribed time, those documents will not be considered and his application will be considered incomplete and disqualified.
6) Please note that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has not given any right to sell, accept applications, etc. to any person or other organization.
7) If a candidate tries to exert pressure at any stage of the recruitment or is found to have resorted to improper means or to have arranged for an impersonation, he/she will be disqualified from selection.
