Job for Pharmacist under Office of the CMHO

Advertisement is being published for the following contractual posts under National Health Mission / District Health Committee, District Balod CG as per the approved action plan of the district for the financial year 2024-26 and as per the instructions given in the Human Resource Policy 2018. For this, interested eligible candidates are invited to apply in the prescribed form from 16/05/2025 to 30/05/2025 till 05.30 PM through registered post / speed post in the office of Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Balod (on office days). Applications received after the prescribed date and through ordinary post / courier or other means will not be accepted.

Qualification : Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (50%) & Registration in CG Pharmacy Registration council.
Salary : Rs. 16,500/-

Application related guidelines
• Applicants can download the application format from the district website balod.gov.in.
• Incomplete and wrongly filled applications will be rejected and will not be included in the selection process.
• In case the candidate applies for different posts, it will be mandatory to attach separate application and DD for each post, otherwise the application will not be accepted.
• It will be mandatory to attach the prescribed application fee with the application form for each post by making a DD (demand draft) in the name of "District Health Society Balod" from a nationalized bank, which will not be refundable.
• On the back of the demand draft, the candidate must write his full name, designation applied for and caste with a pencil.
• Applications without application fee (through demand draft) and DD in the wrong name will be considered incomplete and will not be included in the recruitment process.

• For all such posts in which written / computer based test / clinical skill based test will be taken, it will be mandatory to get 40 percent marks in the examination. In case of getting less than 40 percent marks in the examination, the candidate will be ineligible for appointment.
• Candidates eligible for the examination will be required to appear with all the original documents attached with the application at the time of computer based test / clinical skill based test. In the absence of any original document at the time of verification, permission to appear in the examination will not be given.
• For those advertised posts in which live registration in Nursing / Paramedical Council has been sought, live registration will be mandatory. In case of not submitting life certificate by the candidates, they will be disqualified.
• Age limit - For all posts, the minimum age as on 01/01/2025 should not be more than 18 years and maximum 70 years for medical post and 64 years for managerial post. Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2025. (In the context of contract recruitment, reservation and other conditions, all the instructions, rules and conditions issued by CG Government from time to time will be applicable).

Necessary documents The applicant must attach self-attested photocopies of the following documents with the application form:-
1. Marksheets of all years as per the prescribed minimum educational qualification/related degree/internship/registration certificate.
2. Birth certificate (certificate prescribed by the government for proof of date of birth).
3. Caste certificate issued by the education officer (for reserved category)
4. Chhattisgarh domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.
5. It is necessary to attach the life certificate of CG Council registration for the special posts for which it is applicable.
6. If disabled then (disability certificate)
7. Experience certificate


•  All the posts are completely contract based, the recruitment of which will be done as per the Human Resource Policy 2018 issued by National Health Mission Chhattisgarh.
• Selection of any person will not be ensured merely by applying. Before issuing the final selection list, the original certificates will be checked. Further action will be taken for their selection only if found correct in it.
• Contract honorarium During the contract service period, lump sum honorarium and other amount will be payable every month as per the provisioned ROP, apart from this no other type of allowance / facility will be payable.
• The above contract period will be till 31 March 2026, in case the work evaluation is satisfactory, the said period can be increased as per rules. Contract posts will be automatically cancelled after regular recruitment is done.
• The contract appointment can be terminated by giving notice to the selected candidate at any time after reporting for work. Similarly, the said candidate will have to give a notice one month before giving resignation otherwise one month's salary will have to be deposited.
• In case of equal marks, priority will be decided on the basis of date of birth of the candidates. Candidates whose date of birth is earlier (elder in age) will be given priority.
• Candidates having special reservation eligibility (disabled / ex-servicemen / women reservation will be as per rules) will have to attach the relevant documents issued by the competent authority. Otherwise such candidates will be included in the general category in case the certificate is not attached in the application form.
• Candidates of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class category will have to submit permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
• The said contract post will be non-transferable and it will be mandatory to be present at the place of posting as per the appointment order. In case of not being present at the prescribed time and place of posting, the appointment of the selected candidate will be automatically cancelled.
• Performance appraisal of the employee appointed on contract will be done by the controlling officer.
• Applications will be accepted only from the candidates having the required qualifications as per the advertised post.
• Mere selection for the applied post will not confer the right to appointment. Final appointment will depend on the actual availability of vacant posts and other necessary process / criteria.
• Category wise waiting list will also be issued for the said post, the validity of which will be for one year from the date of issue or till the completion of new recruitment process, whichever is earlier.
• If at any stage of the selection process it is found that any candidate is exerting any kind of pressure or trying to influence the fair selection process, then his/her application form will be rejected. And no claim will be accepted in this regard.
• Applicants must be native of Chhattisgarh. Residence certificate issued by the competent authority will have to be submitted.

• Candidates should paste their latest passport size photograph attested by themselves at the place specified in the application form.
• No travel allowance/expenses of any kind will be payable to the candidate for appearing in the interview/skill test.
• Candidates working in government/semi-government institutions will be required to attach the No Objection Certificate issued by the employer in the application form.
• After selection, all the selected candidates will have to fill a bond that they will take a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned officer to apply at other places. 
• The Collector Chairman District Health Committee will have the sole right to take the final decision on any dispute or problem arising during the recruitment process on the basis of the recommendation of the district level selection committee. Which will be acceptable to all the applicants. 35. Such candidates whose service has been terminated by the National Health Mission or any other government department due to indiscipline/financial irregularities/improper behavior, no matter which post they held, will be considered as ineligible candidates.
• Due to administrative reasons, the number of posts in the notified vacancies can be reduced or increased or can also be cancelled. The right of which will be of the selection committee/employer.
• Reservation provision will be implemented as per the roster system prevalent in the district.
• No record/document submitted separately by the candidates in the claim objection will be considered. Only the claims submitted in respect of the documents attached with the application earlier will be accepted.
• Candidates must ensure to view the published preliminary eligible-ineligible list, otherwise the applicants themselves will be responsible if any kind of error is found after the claim objection.
