CBR-UK DRI partnership creates a dynamic, interconnected research ecosystem to accelerate scientific understanding and innovation in healthy brain ageing. To mark this landmark partnership, and as CBR steps into its second decade, CBR & UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) are launching a new Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme.

This initiative is designed to empower and inspire talented female students pursuing STEM disciplines by providing them with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, along with scholarship and valuable mentorship.

Must not hold a bachelors or specialist/master’s degree and must have completed or be completing a program qualifying for higher education admission in their country during the 2025-2026 academic year

Applicants must be active researchers at any stage in their career with at least one year of graduate research experience or equivalent at the time of application.

IRG subsumes the Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) scheme of erstwhile SERB. IRG will provide enhanced support with flexible norms.

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation presents one Carl Zeiss Humboldt Research Award funded by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung per year to an internationally renowned academic from abroad in recognition of the award winner’s entire previous academic record as well as their extraordinary potential.
