Pharma Job Openings in Goa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences

The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service was a joint Department Comprising of Agriculture & Animal Husbandry. As the needs of Animal Husbandry and Dairying increased this Department assumed its singular characteristics and function. The Department is headed by the DIRECTOR (Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science). This Department which is primarily vested with the responsibility of providing veterinary health along with increase in livestock production has now the task of attaining self sufficiency in milk production of this state.

Applications in prescribed form are invited by the Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, SPACES Building, 4th Floor, Patto-Plaza, Panaji for Goa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Curti Ponda Goa so as to reach on or before 27/03/2026 by 5.00pm to this office at SPACES Building, 4th Floor, Patto-Plaza, Panaji through all means, for filling up the following posts on contract basis for a period of 1 year or till the regular posts are filled in by the Goa Staff Selection Commission. Details of the posts are as under.

Compounder / Pharmacist/ Veterinary & Livestock Development Assistant
No of post : 01
Essential : (1) Atleast Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Board.
(2) Should be registered with State Council of Pharmacy.
(3) Certificate of Training Course in Stock Assistant/ Stockman from recognized Institute.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Consolidated Pay : Rs. 26,750/- per month
Age : 18 years and above and not exceeding 45 years age.

In charge Medical Store
No of post : 01
Essential :
(1) Atleast Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Board.
(2) Should be registered with State Council of Pharmacy.
(3) Atleast one year experience in relevant field.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.
Consolidated Pay : Rs. 26,750/- per month
Age : 18 years and above and not exceeding 45 years age
