Employees’ state Insurance Scheme of India,  is a multidimensional social system tailored to provide socio-economic  protection to worker population and their dependents covered under the scheme.  Besides full medical care for self and dependents, that is admissible from day  one of insurable employment, the insured persons are also entitled to a variety  of case benefits in times of physical distress due to sickness, temporary or  permanent disablement etc. resulting in loss of earing capacity, the confinement  in respect of insured women, dependents of insured persons who die in industrial  accidents or because of employment injury or occupational hazard are entitled to  a monthly pension called the dependents benefit.
At an average the ESI Corporation makes 40  lac individual payments each year amounting to about Rs.300 crores through its  wide spread network of branch Offices in the implemented areas. For availing  cash benefit in different contingencies insured persons or their dependants have  to complete some minimal formalities and follow certain set procedures.  Therefore, to ensure smooth and straight flow of benefits, an attempt has been  made in the following paragraphs about the procedure to be followed by the ESI  beneficiaries for claiming the benefits as and when the need arises.

Andhra Pradesh:

Pay Scale: PB – 1; 5200 – 20200 with GP – 2800

Qualification:
Allopathy: Degree in Pharmacy / Sr. secondary with Diploma in Pharmacy form a recognized Institution and qualified & registered as Pharmacist Under Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Ayurveda: Essential:-
(i) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
(ii) Diploma in Ayurvedic from recognized Institution.
(iii) Three Years experience in Ayurvedic Pharmacy in a recognized Institute /Hospital after duty registered under pharmacy act 1948.

Age:
Not exceeding 32 years. (Relaxable up to 37 years in case of Govt. servant and employees of the ESIC)

Important Note:-
01. The vacancies are in various ESIC Hospitals of the ESI Corporation of the State. Those candidates who are willing to accept the posting any where Specified in the State and are willing to be transferred in any part of India on promotional posts, as per policy of ESIC, need apply. The candidates so appointed for the above mentioned posts shall be appointed in the State for which application is submitted and are liable to transferred in any Medical Institution / Establishment / SSMC Office in that state and also liable to be transferred in any part of India on promotional posts as per policy of ESI Corporation.
02. Relaxation in age – SC / ST / OBC candidates shall be eligible for age relaxation to the extent as under only for the posts reserved for these categories. In case vacancies are not reserved for these category of applicants, the candidates shall not be eligible for any age relaxation in such categories of posts.
a) 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
b) 03 years for Other Backward Classes recognized by the Govt. of India (Notified in Central List only applicable) the candidates applying under OBC category must submit the certificate in the prescribed form to be produced by other backward classes applying for appointment to the posts under the Government of India. The candidates belonging to only such castes / communities falling in the central list of OBC prepared by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India are entitled for reservation in the services under the Government of India. The candidates who shall not be submitting the OBC certificate in the proforma prescribed for appointment to the posts under the Government of India shall not be considered for reservation under OBC category or their application shall be rejected and no request / correspondence will be entertained.
c) 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
d) 03 years over and above the service rendered in the Armed Forces for Ex. Servicemen.
03 Reservation for given physical handicapped will be as per existing Govt. of India Policy.
04 Experience is to be counted only after the completion of requisite Educational Qualification.

Fee & Mode of Payment.: Application fee including postal charges for General and OBC candidates Rs. 125/-

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/ Ex. Servicemen category & Women candidates are exempted from payment of the above fee. Departmental candidates are also exempted from payment subject to enclosing certificate of service from the ESI Hospital / Dispensary.
The fee is required to be paid by the applicants through Demand Draft only issued from any scheduled bank in favour of “ESI Corporation, Account No.- 1” payable at (Name the city of the respective states for which post applied). The Demand Draft of the fee should be issued on or after the date of publication of advertisement but before the last date for submission of Application Form. Fee payment in any other form will not be accepted.

How to apply:-
01 The crucial date for reckoning the age and other eligibility criteria i.e. educational/technical qualification, experience, internship, registration, course etc. will be the last date of receipt of applications i.e. .
02 The application duly filled in English or Hindi language, in the prescribed application format, given below, duly supported with clean/ legible attested copies of the relevant certificates and marks statements (in English or Hindi) should be sent by Registered post / Speed post at the following address :-

03 Candidates have to fill in the application form in their own handwriting with blue or black ball point pen.
04 Original documents / certificates should not be sent with the application form.
05 Candidates should submit one application only for one post. The candidature of those candidates who submit more than one application for one post shall liable to be rejected.
06 Envelope containing the application should be super scribed “Application for the post of in STATE of, _____________________”.
07 Documents required to be attached with the application. Attested copies of certificates in support of (i) Date of birth, (ii) Educational & Technical qualification alongwith marks statement, (iii) caste / community certificate, (iv) Working Experience, (v) Discharge certificate in respect of Ex. Servicemen, (vi) Disability certificate in respect of PH candidates, (vii) Two recent passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted officer. One photo should be firmly pasted (Not stapled or pined) in the space provided in the application form, (viii) Two self addressed envelopes, (ix) Demand Draft, (x) Registration certificate where required.
08 The Demand Draft should not be tagged or stapled, but should be pinned or clipped at the top of the application form. Candidates must write his / her name, address, Post applied and ESIC Hospital in which applied on the back side of the Demand Draft.
09 Candidates claiming reservation / age relaxation on grounds of belonging to OBC should submit the Community Certificate in annexure “A” prescribed vide Govt. of India, Department of Personnel and Training OM No. 36012/22/93-Estt (SCT) dated 08.09.1993 which is modified vide G.O.I., DOPT’s OM No. 36033/3/2004-EST(Res.) dated 09.03.2004 falling which the benefit of reservation / relaxation will not be given or their application shall be rejected and no request / correspondence will be entertained.
