Applications are invited for One post of Scientist II (non-medical) and One post of Lab attendant in the ICMR funded Task Force project “Comparative analysis of Genetic, clinical and epidemiological factors of breast cancer in Indian population”, Principal investigator, Dr Usha Agrawal, Scientist E, ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi.

Essential Qualification :-
First class Master’s degree in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st Class Master’s Degree or Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Life Sciences from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc.+ Ph.D.

Desirable Qualification: (i) Doctorate in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences from a recognized university for candidates with first class in relevant Masters’ degree, (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences in recognized institute(s) (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications / Data Management.

Candidates who have submitted their final PhD thesis may also apply.

 

Age limit:    Not exceeding 40 years on last date of application. Age relaxation in respect of SC/ST/OBC
candidates as per rules

Emoluments: Rs. 51,000/- P.M plus 30% HRA

Please note that the Institute has no provision for hostel accommodation. No TA/DA is admissible.

Applications received after the due date/due to postal delay and/or without the relevant information will not be considered. The post is purely temporary for the duration of the project and the position will automatically co¬terminus on the completion of the project tenure. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in funding agency or in this Institute. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer of appointment.
