Job Description
Designation - BDE CPD - Selective Sales

Location - Ahmedabad

A: Sales & Distribution
• In charge of retail shops and will be responsible for Handling distributors and Beauty Advisors.

Responsible for Growth of Business in the assigned territory.

would be expected to be a Key team player and a person who leads with Loreal competencies and characteristics.
• The person would be incharge of Primary & Secondary Sales of entire range of products.
• Responsible for Execution Excellence with regard to visibility.
• In charge of Displays and good merchandising
• Should have excellent communication skills
• Interaction ability with Key accounts – Shopper's stop, Lifestyle and such other big brand stores where there are manned counters.
• Should be able to handle a team of Beauty advisors.
• Should be able to do the market route / beat plan effectively

Knowledge of calculation of ROI. Distributor management and good convincing skills & knowledge of Local language would be an added advantage.

B: Sales & Marketing
• Catalyst between the local marketing setup and the retail outlets.
• Should participate and supervise various promotional activities.
• Reporting of competitor information to Head Office/RSO functional Head

C: Planning and forecasting
• Forecasting of sales, planning and indenting of stocks on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

D: Supply chain and Inventory control
• Maintaining the right inventory of stocks at distributors point and made sure that the stocks take care of the target achievement
• Responsible for follow-up on all day to day operational issues

E: New Product Launches
• Preparing Launch Plan with the Beauty advisors and the staff working with in the team

F: Claims management and budget utilisation.

Key job accountabilities
To manage and develop a group of clients in a given geographical area for a given portfolio of products.
• Identify the business potential of existing clients and build loyalty
• Achieve sales targets, qualitative and quantitative objectives given by Area sales manager
• Identify and convert future clients in the given area
• Help clients to develop their own business (sell-through, technical help, merchandising…)
• Organise route plan and manage data and administration
. Responsible fro Primary, Secondary and Off take along with merchandising

Technical & Professional competencies required
• Negotiation skills
• Sales techniques
• Interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of products, market and competition
• Computer knowledge
