Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was d under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the post of Research Associate position in Department of Gastroenterology, Institute of Medical Sciences, under the ICMR- DHR funded project (project no. P-14/0789 entitled “A randomized study to investigate the role of rifaximin compared to standard of care in reducing infectious complications in acute pancreatitis” at Banaras Hindu University. This post is temporary for the period of 9 months and Co-terminus with the project.

Emolument : 47000. + HRA (18%) = 55,460/-
Essential qualification : Candidates should hold Ph.D. or having 3 years of research experience after MSc in Biologic Sciences / M.Pharma with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
Desirable qualification / Experience : Candidate having good publication in peer review Journals, research experience in handing laboratory instruments/molecular techniques, good scientific writing and preparation of research reports. Candidate who have research experience in pancreatitis and clinical area will be given preference.
