Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited, KAPL Bengaluru is a Government of India Enterprise. Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited is a Joint Sector Company of Government of India with shareholding from Government of Karnataka through Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation KSIIDC. From a modest beginning in 1984, KAPL has grown exponentially in the areas of manufacturing and marketing of various life saving and essential drugs.

The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) has been established by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute, under the Societies act.  The mission of ILBS is to become a dedicated international centre of excellence for the diagnosis, management and advanced training and research in the field of liver and biliary diseases.  The first phase of ILBS is already functional having 180 hospital beds, 74 of which cater as intensive care (ICU) beds.

The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is a premier scientific institute and one of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)-Accredited Laboratories dedicated to human sports dope testing & allied research. This the only Laboratory of its kind in the county having state-of-the-art facilities. It is equipped with the latest and sophisticated analytical equipment including LC-Orbitrap-HRMS, GC/C/RMS, Sysmex XN 1000,Cobas e 411 etc.

Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, popularly known as CIMAP, is a frontier plant research laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) is the implementing agency of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP). PMBI was established in December, 2008 under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India. The Bureau has been registered as an independent society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 as a separate independent legal entity in April, 2010. PMBI follows the provisions of GFR. 2017 as amended from time to time, the CVC guidelines, and instructions from the Department of Pharmaceuticals.

The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time.
