A successful PhD degree in molecular Biomedicine, genetics, biology, pharmacology or in a related field of the life sciences ; extensive hands-on experience in invitro cell-based functional assays

The ICGEB SMART Fellowship programme promotes the mobility of researchers between ICGEB Member States as a way of enhancing skill development, acquisition of specific hands-on training in new technologies and increasing cooperation in science and technology and should provide clear evidence of strong collaboration between the two laboratories.

Masters degree in any field of Bioinformatics/Plant Molecular Biology/Life sciences/Biotechnology, or M.Tech degree in a related field with 2 years experience.

Open Post-Doctoral fellowship on external funds available in Dr. Bragas Functional Cell Biology Laboratory at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Trieste, Italy.

PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology with prior experience in wet lab and molecular biology using conventional or non-conventional yeast strains.

The candidate should have completed a Ph.D. in any field of Life Sciences or Chemistry and have experience in the characterization of natural products, proteomics, mass-spectrometry, metabolomics, etc., are encouraged to apply. 

M.Sc in the field of Life Sciences. A concrete understanding of human immunology. Hands on experience in animal cell culture, basic techniques such as ELISAs and immunoblotting.

A PhD in Biological or Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences is essential. postdoctoral experience in the relevant field with at least one research paper in a SCI journal and laboratory experience is desirable.

Applicants must be nationals of an ICGEB Member State and may not apply for fellowships to be undertaken in their country of origin, unless they have been working abroad for, at least, the last 3 years and at the time of application.
