Indian Institute of Technology Ropar invites applications from Indian citizens for PhD programs in various disciplines during Second semester of academic year 2013-2014. Eligibility criteria and areas of research for each department are given below:

Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal, a research institute under Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, invites applications from the suitable candidates for the following position for its extramural research project funded by Science & Engineering Research Board under Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India . Prescribed application format is available at the Institute’s website or from the receptionist of the Institute. Duly fill in application form along with photo copies of attested certificate / testimonials in support of age and educational qualifications with recent self attested passport size photograph of the candidate may be submitted to the undersigned on or before 19th October, 2013 during Office hour. Only eligible / short listed candidates will be intimated for an interview before the selection committee. The selection procedure will be strictly adhered to Govt. of India norms.

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.

The Government of Tamil Nadu established the Periyar University at Salem on 17th September 1997 as per the provisions of the Periyar University Act, 1997. The University covers the area comprising the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. The University got the 12(B) and 2f status from the University Grants Commission and has been accredited by NAAC with B+ grade in 2007.

Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur (Bengali: Hindi: (or BESU), established in 1856 at Shibpur, Howrah, is the second oldest engineering institution, a premier engineering and state funded institution in India. It is one of the Top Engineering Institutions in India "Ranked 10th Nationally" by "India Today" in the year 2005.

Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens, for one temporary position of Senior Research Fellow on a fellowship of Rs.18,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA, in the DBT sponsored project entitled, “Micro-Regulatory Networks In Leukemia Stem Cells (RGYI)”, under the guidance of Dr. Zhumur Ghosh, Bioinformatics Centre. The project is tenable for three years. The position is tenable for one year, may be extended upto the tenure of the project, subject to satisfactory performance.
