CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI), a premier drug research institute of India was inaugurated on 17th Feb 1951 by the then Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru with a vision to strengthen and advance the field of drug research and development in the country. The Institute has made significant accomplishments in the pursuit of its mission to New Drugs & Technologies for affordable healthcare for all, generation of knowledge base and nurturing future leaders for healthcare sector. Today, it has become a unique model for modernized drug research in India – having everything under one roof, from synthesis, screening, development studies, process up-scaling to clinical studies. Unique achievements of the Institute includes discovery and development of 12 new drugs, of which, Arteether (Brand Name: E-mal), BESEB (Brand Name: Memory Sure), Centchroman (Brand Name: Saheli) are currently in market; transferred more than 130 indigenous technologies to the pharmaceutical companies, a significant contribution in the metamorphosis of the Indian Pharma Industry. So far, more than 10,000 research articles have been published by the Institute in peer reviewed journals. Obtained more than 350 Indian patents and 90 international patents; and produced more than 1000 Ph.D's. Several of its Alumni have occupied highest positions in national and international academic institutions, biotech and pharma industries.

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.

A walk-in-interview is proposed to be conducted on 16^th Oct 2015 to fill up the posts/fellowshipon consolidated salary under projects, as detail below, at the Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Dollygunj, Port Blair. Candidates who fulfil the requisite qualifications may appear for the walk-in-interview at this Centre at Dollugunj, Port Blair. The verification of original certificates would commence from 9.30 a.m. onwards. The verification of original certificates would commence from 9.30 a.m. onwards. They should also carry with them filled-in application as per the format which is downloadable from our website www.rmrc.res.in along with copies of all the certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, working experience and affixing a passport size photograph, at the time of walk-in-interview. Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for this purpose.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Research Associate (RA) for CSIR, New Delhi funded Major Research Project on ‘Characterization, Documentation and Bio prospection of Lichens from Murlen National Park, Mizoram’. Duration of the project is for two years (2015-2017).

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an Autonomous / Apex Technical Institute funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country through Education & Training, Research & Evaluation, specialized services, consultancy and advisory services. This Institute has undertaken a project on "Development of Enzyme and colloidal gold based Immunoassays (ELISA and LFIA) using bridge and antigen heterology for the detection of prednisolone, Medroxyprogesterone acetate, 17 α methyltestosterone and nandrolone in biological fluids and tissues of animals". For this project, NIHFW proposes to fill the following post on contractual basis. The duration of the project is three years but the appointment will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended further based on performance assessment.
