Appasaheb Birnale College of Pharmacy is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The college offers B. Pharma and D. Pharma and postgraduate M. Pharma course.

The Visiting Students' Research Programme (VSRP-2014) will be held at TIFR, Mumbai during the period May 12 to July 9, 2014.

Participants are paid a monthly stipend of Rs 7000/-, Sleeper class return railway fare and are provided with shared hostel accommodation.
