The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India.  It is an apex body in India for the formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.

The Institute intends to engage the following contractual staff for Ayurveda Mobile Health Care Programme under-SCSP / NPCDCS Program.

The commission has been entrusted with the responsibility of making recommendations to all class-ill services/posts including such posts on contract basis under the HP Govt. Besides this, the commission has also to make recommendations to all such class-ill posts of the state public sector Undertakings. Boards. Corporations. Universities and Local Bodies, etc., as may be entrusted to the Board by such Boards/ Corporations/ Universities and Local Bodies etc.

The precursor of the Punjab Public Service Commission, with its writ running from the khyber pass to the jamuna near delhi, was born at lahore on may 1,1937. In the wake of the partition, the punjab public service commission resurged in february, 1948, at shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of east punjab. Following the merger of the states of punjab and pepsu, it shifted to patiala on nov.1st,1956. On 1stnov1966, its territorial jurisdiction again decreased due to the formation of the states of haryana and himachal pradesh.

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) is an autonomous institution of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune Campus, Pune. Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of  the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission. However, since a State Public Service Commission could be constituted simultaneously with the attainment of Statehood, the Union Public Service Commission, on a request from the Governor of the State of Himachal Pradesh with the approval of the President of India, agreed to serve the needs of Himachal Pradesh till the establishment of a Public Service Commission for the State or for a period of three months from 25th January, 1971 whichever was earlier.
