The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).
First class Post Graduate Degree in a Life Science, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biotechnology including the integrated PG degrees OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG degrees with PhD.
M.Sc, Master in Public Health, Life Science, Biotechnology, Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Physiology with 4 Year of research experience.
Masters, Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc, Animal Sciences. OR Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University.
First Class Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry etc. Candidates with prior experience in molecular biology techniques including gene cloning and protein purification will be preferred.
Candidates having B.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
Demonstrable experience in Neuroscience or RNA Biochemistry in the form of publication. Experience in animal handling, viral injections in brain and animal behaviour or sequencing data analysis.
