Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services focuses on improvement and expansion of the animal husbandry activities and providing quality Veterinary Services in these Islands. This has a direct bearing on the overall development of the rural masses, especially the weaker sections of the society, women, unemployed youth, and tribals. The department carries out planned programmes for development of Dairy and Fodder, Poultry, Piggery and Goatery by providing inputs, training and health cover.

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is a National Centre of the Government of India, under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy, as well as a deemed University awarding degrees for master’s and doctoral programs.

Letter No. 5 / P0-16/2023-33 (5) B, Planning, Health, Ranchi dated 25.05.2023 from the Additional Chief Secretary Health Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi, for providing primary health services to the residents of primitive tribal community (PVTG) majority villages of the state, for the operation of "Mobile Village Clinic" on the basis of walk in interview of AYUSH doctor and medical assistant. For this, private AYUSH doctors and medical assistants are to be empaneled at the district level.

ICMR is dealing with biomedical/ health research in various areas, in collaboration with National/ International agencies, through its Headquarters at New Delhi and 27 Institutes/ Centres and a large number of field stations, situated across the country.
