Ministry of Defence invites application from Pharmacists

The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Post : Pharmacist

ECHS invites applications to engage following Medical, Para Medical & Non Medical Staff on contractual basis in ECHS Polyclinic Pune, Pune( Nyati) and Solapur for a period of one year renewable for additional period of one year/till attaining the maximum age subject to performance of candidates/other conditions according to the criteria as mentioned against each post.

Qualification :
B.Pharmacy from an recognised institute
or
10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) form a recognised board and Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognised by the Pharmacy council of Indian and registered as pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948 and. minimum 03 years work experience.
Reservation - 70% reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

Salary : Rs. 36,500/-

Preference will be given to the Ex-servicemen. Reservation - 60% of total post of Med Staff and 70% of total post of Para Med Staff and Non-Med Staff will be reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

Application as per requisite format along with self-attested photocopies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualifications, copy ot PAN Card, Aadhar Card. Work Experiences, (copy of PPO, Discharge Book and Service Records for Ex-Servicemen), and Certificate of Registration with Medical Council (for Medical & Para Medical Staff), will be submitted to OIC, Stn HQs (ECHS Cell) Pune by 16 February 2026. Any application received after 16 February 2026 will not be accepted. Candidates must paste colour photograph on the Application Form and attach photocopies of all documents as explained above. Applications received without photographs and documents as stated above will not be accepted.

Interview Date, Timing & Venue
On receipt of applications, scrutiny of all applications will be carried out in accordance with Eligibility Criteria/Terms & Conditions as laid down on the subject. Thereafter, only Eligible candidates will be called for interview and the same will be informed on their Mobile Number. Eligible candidates should reach HQ Dakshin Maharashtra & Goa Sub Area, Pune at 08.30AM sharply on 24, 25 & 26 February 2026 for the interview to be held between 0900 (hrs) to 1500 (hrs). Candidates must bring all the original certificates/mark sheets/degree of 10th/Matric. 10+2 & Graduation/ Post Graduation/ Diploma/course. PAN Card, Aadhar Card. Certificate of Registration with Medical Council and Work experience certificates (Discharge Book. PPO and Service Records for Ex-Servicemen) at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible. Only candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements may apply.
