BITS Pilani Goa Campus started functioning in August 2004 and was formally inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minster of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh on May 5, 2006.  The Campus is spread over an area os 180 acres and the location of the campus is unique with respect to the scenic beauty and panoramic view of picturesque surrounding with Zuari river, hillocks, waterways and forest. The Campus is about 25km south of Panjim, 10 km west of Vasco-da-Gama, and 22 km north of Madgaon. It is 5.5 km east of Goa Airport, along National Highway - 17B, bypass road.

The infrastructure includes the Administrative office, Well equipped laboratories, Tutorial rooms, Classrooms with Audiovisual facilities, Computer lab, Central instrumentation room , Pilot plant, CPCSEA approved Animal house, Computer Aided Drug Design lab, Placement cell, Library, Auditorium and one of its kind Pharmaceutical Museum.  The designing and planning of labs has been done as per AICTE norms.
