    A walk in interview is scheduled at Pharmacology & Toxicology Division of the Institute on 3rd August, 2015 at 11.00 AM for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow in DST funded time bound project titled, “Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling in early pregnant buffalo uterus: Possible role in endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation”. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. There will be no provision of absorption/reemployment in IVRI/DBT on termination of the project.     Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. This was a generous contribution of Scindia family, in particular Kailashwasi Maharaja Shrimant Jiwaji Rao Scindia and late Rajmata Shrimati Vijayaraje Scindia.     Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (JNTBGRI) was found in 1979 with the objective of establishing a Conservatory Botanic Garden of tropical plant resources in general and of the country and the Kerala state in particular. It also undertakes research programmes for the sustainable utilization of the resources. The idea of establishing the institute was conceived soon after the first United Nations Conference on human Environment, held in Stockholm in 1972 by theFounder Director, the late Professor A. Abraham and its became his commitment to conserve the waning tropical plant species of India.
