Dibrugarh University, the easternmost University of India was set up in 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating University with limited residential facilities. The University is situated at Rajabheta at a distance of about five kilometres to the south of the premier town of Dibrugarh in the eastern part of Assam as well as India. The University is located in a campus of 203 hectares out of which 74.3 hectares are under tea plantation.

Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER) (formely Defence Agricultural research Laboratory, DARL) is engaged in R&D on Biofuel crops and Bio-diesel for Defence use.Bio-resource conservation, improvement and its judicious utilization and Bioenergy-products from Himalayan Herbs. The laboratory is located at Haldwani, District- Nainital (Uttarakhand).

Following Fellowships are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), at a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Rs. 40,000/- per month for Research Associate (RA) (House Rent Allowance is also admissible as per rules). National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. Applications are invited from eligible candidate for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project from the DST - Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) to be undertaken in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology of this Institute. The position is temporary and the offer will be initially for a period of ONE Year that can be extended further based on the performance and will be co terminus with the project.
