Agricultural education was first started in Bihar in 1945 with the establishment of Bihar Agricultural College at Sabour in the district of Bhagalpur. Later on, it was realised that the agricultural situation and features of the plateau region of South Bihar is different from the rest of Bihar. Hence there was a need of a second college for this region. Ranchi Agricultural College was established in 1955, Ranchi Veterinary College in 1961 and College of Forestry in 1980.

The Pharmacy Courses running at different campuses, Centurion University, aims at skill based education with a curriculum designed to prepare Diploma holders, graduates in Pharmacy for lifelong learning and leadership capabilities. Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College is pioneer educational institute and research centre in south Gujarat region. The institute is located in the sprawling campus of 8.32 acres, in Kim. Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College has built its own credentials in a short span of 10 years.
The institute caters to students opting for B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Ph.D. The institute is offering postgraduate degree in leading branches of pharmacy like Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Quality Assurance and Pharmaceutics. Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College is one among the few institutes having permanent research collaboration with Ribosome Pharma Pvt. Ltd., the FDCA approved Drug Testing Laboratory.
