The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur is one of the National Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research which is an Autonomous Body. It is located on a 250 acres of land with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar Range in salubrious climate. The Institute is engaged in research and technology development programmes for sustainable management of bioresources of the Himalayas.

Applications are invited by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for the post of a Consultant on Contractual basis for managing the Indo-Australia Biotechnology Projects , with a consolidated emolument of `30,000/- per month initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended by another year.
