IICB Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in India for biomedical research and was included within the aegis of CSIR in 1956.
IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and biological problems of global interest, employing sophisticated state-of-the-art technology in keeping with the rapid and unprecedented momentum that life science research has gained globally over the last 50 years.

With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda and chlorine.

CSIR-IICT is conducting Walk-in-Interview for the following positions on a purely temporary basis for the sponsored projects at 10.00 A.M on 20^th November 2015 at IICT Hyderabad:

Applications are invited for the posts of Project Fellow (UGC) and Junior Research Fellow (CSIR) at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy, Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

A walk in interview is scheduled at Pharmacology & Toxicology Division of the Institute on 20^th November, 2015 at 11.00 AM for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow in DST funded time bound project titled, “Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling in early pregnant buffalo uterus: Possible role in endometrial receptivity and embryo implantation”. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.

NJIL&OMD, Tajganj, Agra, under ICMR, Dept. of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, invites suitable Indian candidates for appointment in the following purely temporary posts (on contractual basis) for different projects as mentioned below for a period of one year initially and extendable upto maximum 3 years or remaining period of the projects whichever is earlier.
