    The ICMR has always attempted to address itself to the growing demands of scientific advances in biomedical research on the one hand, and to the need of finding practical solutions to the health problems of the country, on the other. The ICMR has come a long way from the days when it was known as the IRFA, but the Council is conscious of the fact that it still has miles to go in pursuit of scientific achievements as well as health targets.

    The following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis under the collaborative project entitled “Strategy to study screening of anti-CMV (Cytomegalovirus) compounds from some medicinal and edible mushrooms” funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), West Bengal. under Dr. Nilanjan Chakraborty, Scientist- E, PI of this Institute & Dr Swapan Kr Ghosh, Associate Professor Co-P,I(RKMVC College, Rahara).

  • Job for Junior Research Fellow at NEIGRIHMS

    NEIGRIHMS was established by the Government of India in 1987. It has been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in lineage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is the First Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and the Third in the Country established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

    The Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) Mohali was established in 2007 by the Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), to carry out research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality science education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
