PhD degree in the relevant area of life sciences/Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Computational biology. Understanding the molecular mechanism of eukaryotic translation initiation.

M.Sc. Life Sciences / M.Pharm / M. S. Pharm./ M.Tech Pharm / M. Tech in Pharmacy; Experience in working with rodents especially mice injection and surgical techniques, primary cell culture techniques, real time RT-PCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry with strong knowledge in basic concepts of neuroscience and metabolism research. SiRNA based techniques to knock down, knock out genes in cell lines.

Ph.D. in pharmacy or biological sciences or equivalent from a recognized University. Candidate with experience in the nanoformulations, cell culture studies and animal handling will be preferred. Those who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting award of the degree are also eligible to apply.

Masters Degree in Biological or Chemical Sciences or Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine with Four years of experience. Students with PhD who have finished or submitted thesis are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas : Protein biochemistry, Structural Biology, Cell biology bacterial and cell culture, and Immunology. 

Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences. Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis but are yet to complete thesis defence can also apply. Candidate must have extensive experience during Ph.D. in working with basic molecular biology techniques like PCR, cloning, DNA, RNA extraction,protein related work etc. Prior teaching experience, although not mandatory, is preferred.

First Class Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with PhD in Molecular Biology or Microbiology and strong background in Infectious Disease research. Prior experience in field sample collection, processing, documentation, record keeping and lab management would be an advantage.
