The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), previously the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board and commonly known as Vyapam (an abbreviation of its Hindi name Madhya Pradesh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal), is a government agency of Madhya Pradesh, India. It conducts various tests for admission to professional courses and streams. It is the largest examination conducting body of Madhya Pradesh government and comes directly under the Directorate of Technical Education (Government of Madhya Pradesh). The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of State Govt.

Age Limit
• For all posts for which the Board is conducting the Combined Junior Services Eligibility Examination, the minimum age limit will be 18 years and the maximum age limit will be 40 years. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes, Government servants working in departments/corporations/boards/commissions/autonomous bodies/home guards and female candidates, the age limit will be 45 years. Amendments issued from time to time by the General Administration Department regarding the maximum age limit will be considered applicable. The age limit will be calculated as on January 1 of the current year of recruitment, i.e., January 1, 2026:
• Circular No. of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, General Administration Department, Bhopal. As per letter No. 73/104/2022/A.P./2021, dated 02 February 2022, there is no provision for age relaxation for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and natives of Madhya Pradesh For OBCs, government/corporation/board/autonomous organization employees/municipal personnel/ Persons with Disabilities/Women (Unreserved/Reserved), etc. Minimum/Maximum Age Limit (in years) for Class III/IV posts outside the purview of the Public Service Commission : 18 to 45 (with 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit)
Note : For all posts, candidates must be registered with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Exchange. Reservation and age relaxation requirements must require a valid certificate issued by a competent authority/accredited by the Madhya Pradesh Government.
Application Fee
The application fee, including the examination fee, will be decided by the Executive Committee of the Board. The fee concessions applicable to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, EWS, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will be applicable only to those native residents of Madhya Pradesh who have been declared as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, EWS, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) by the Madhya Pradesh Government. However, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, EWS, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates from other states will be deemed to be included in the unreserved category and will not be eligible for reservation, age relaxation, or any other benefits available to this category. Provided further that candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and falling within the creamy layer will not be eligible for reservation benefits, age relaxation, or any other benefits available to this category.
Travel Allowance
(1) Travel expenses will be reimbursed by the concerned department as per the guidelines of the General Administration Department. Candidates who are domiciles of Madhya Pradesh and belong to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes notified by the Government, and candidates who have been certified as physically handicapped, will be reimbursed their travel expenses for appearing in the examination at the examination centre. To be eligible for travel expenses, the candidate must submit a self-attested caste certificate issued by a competent government authority as documentary evidence and attach a copy of the same. Only then will the concerned department reimburse the candidate's travel expenses. (2) Madhya Pradesh Government Finance Department's Order No. F 1-2/2013/Rule/Four Bhopal dated 29 June 2015 has directed that the travel expenses of the candidates coming for examination and training (especially those of reserved category) should be paid only through e-payment method. All the concerned candidates must attach their bank account details, proof of attendance in the examination etc. in the enclosed Format-1 and send it to the concerned department.
Note
1. Candidate Aadhaar registration is mandatory.
2. It is mandatory to bring a valid photo ID card to the Board-conducted examinations. Candidates can choose from Voter ID, PAN card, Aadhaar card, driving license, and passport as original photo ID proof. E-Aadhaar will be valid only after verification by UIDAI. Without a valid photo ID card, the candidate will be disqualified from appearing in the examination.
3. Candidates are required to bring their Aadhaar card/e-Aadhaar card/photocopy of Aadhaar card along with Aadhaar number/Aadhaar VID information in addition to the original identity card specified in the rule book. Multi-stage biometric verification is mandatory at the time of entry and during the examination.

5. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination center until the reporting time. Candidates arriving late after this time will not be eligible for entry.
6. The use of electronic devices, such as mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, sunglasses, and cheating papers, is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
7. Candidates can obtain their admit card for the online examination only through their online application number. Therefore, keep the application number safely, for which the applicant will be solely responsible.
8. Applicants must bring a black ballpoint pen and the admit card downloaded from the Board's website to the examination center to enter the examination hall.
9. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall after the commencement of the examination until the end of the examination.
10. While filling out the application form, the Board does not verify any of the candidates' certificates; instead, they are verified by the concerned department during the recruitment process. Therefore, the eligibility of candidates for the computer-based online examination will be purely provisional.
11. For all the above posts, it is mandatory for candidates to have a valid registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Exchange.
12. Candidates belonging to the Special Primitive Tribal Communities of Madhya Pradesh, such as the Vaiga, Sahariya/Saharia, and Bharia Scheduled Tribes, must submit their applications for non-executive posts in hard copy, along with all the necessary certificates, to the ESB by the prescribed last date (in Format 2 of the rule book). Instead of sending it to the concerned department, separate applications will have to be sent directly to the concerned department. The application form sent to ESB will be considered invalid.
13. In case the posts of the department are functional, there will be no provision for exemption from examination for the candidates belonging to primitive tribes (Baiga, Sahariya/Sahariya and Bhariya). Those candidates should apply online for the examination as Scheduled Tribe candidates. (In such a situation, all the clauses related to Baiga, Sahariya and Bhariya of the rule book will be considered deleted.
